Letting your puppy drag ropes in the field

Try putting two snaps on your drag ropes.

This will keep you from losing your ropes.

Also put two snaps on your check cords.

 

 

Hunting for Dead Birds

With a young dog you should try putting him/her on a leash for the first few times while hunting for dead birds. This will show him or her that when you say dead bird he or she should stay with you and help you look for the dead bird.
